The Skater/Bowling Team who raises the most money overall wins a Watch Party!
Join us on Friday night for the first chapter of our Stranger Weekend: the Skate-a-thon!
Taking place at FunQuest Family Entertainment Center, this peer-to-peer fundraiser invites skaters of all ages to hit the rink and raise money for United Way of Central Virginia.
Here’s how it works: each skater collects pledges from friends, family, coworkers; anyone who wants to support them! Like Joyce Byers, we will light up every letter A-Z for 26 Eleven-minute intervals. Make it to the end for the demogorgon skate off and turn things right side up! This makes 27 total Elevens to be skated. Yes, you can take breaks if needed!
Sponsors pledge a dollar amount for every Eleven minutes the skater stays on the rink. For example, if someone pledges $1 per Eleven and you skate for 13 Elevens, they’ll donate $13 to United Way! The skater who skates the longest will win a pair of retro roller skates!

*You will not be charged until after the day of the event (January 23rd) if you are sponsoring a skater. The skater must enter the number of Elevens skated after the event to fulfill your pledge amount.
Register to Skate:
Click the Register to Skate” button below.
Click the register button under the skater section. Enter your information, create a unique link for your fundraising page, and pay the entry fee.
Start fundraising! Share your link with friends, family, etc. to collect pledges for each Eleven you will skate.
Rollerskate on January 23rd! Keep track of how many Elevens you skate. Enter the number online to complete the pledges to finalize your fundraised amounts.

For every entry to FunQuest on Friday January 23rd. You don’t have to be a part of the skate-a-thon to support United Way of Central Virginia. Bring your family, eat, drink, play some arcade games and laser tag, and cheer on the skaters as they roll!

Join us on Saturday for the second chapter of our Stranger Weekend: the Bowl-a-thon!
Happening Saturday, January 24, at Fort Hill Bowling Center, this peer-to-peer fundraiser is a fun and friendly way to support United Way of Central Virginia. No bowling skills required!
Here’s how it works: Teams can have 4 or 5 people. Gather 3 or 4 friends, family members, or coworkers, come up with a creative team name, and register for one of two time slots (12-3pm or 3-6pm). Once you’re registered, you’ll create your own fundraising page to share with others and collect donations online. Every dollar raised helps United Way continue making a difference right here in Central Virginia.

Join us on Sunday for the third chapter of our Stranger Weekend: the Arcade and/or playing Dungeons & Dragons!
On Sunday, head to Super Rad Arcade Bar for a night of retro gaming, role-playing, and community—all supporting United Way of Central Virginia.
Here’s how it works:
Choose your adventure. For $10, enjoy unlimited access to Super Rad’s retro arcade lineup, with 20% of every ticket benefiting UWCV. Come anytime on Sunday during Super Rad’s open hours, 12-11pm.
If tabletop is more your speed, join a Dungeons & Dragons one-shot in the basement from 3-6pm. Entry is $15, and it also covers your arcade play upstairs. We encourage you to bring your regular group you normally roll with for a fun session designed for Stranger Weekend.
Whether you’re rolling dice or chasing high scores, Sunday is all about having a good time while giving back.
