Lynchburg Cooks for Change is a refreshed take on a beloved event, reimagined as an exquisite and unique culinary experience. Guests will enjoy tastings from some of the area’s most popular local restaurants, all coming together for an evening of great food and meaningful impact.
All proceeds will benefit United Way of Central Virginia, Meals on Wheels, and Lynchburg Daily Bread.
Lynchburg Cooks for Change is an exciting evolution of the previous Lynchburg Cooks events. This year, we are building on our traditional foundation to offer a more sophisticated and polished experience. The event will be a more intimate gathering, featuring multi-course gourmet delights from four top local restaurants. Guests can enjoy an array of beer, wine, and cocktails while engaging in live auctions and raffles, offering opportunities to win big!

United Way of Central Virginia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is working in the impact areas of Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Essential Stability. We do this by supporting many programs, services, and collaborations. United Way Programs are improving opportunities for our youth to succeed in school. They work to stabilize families through programs that reduce hunger, improve housing stability, and reduce domestic violence. They are improving health care accessibility for individuals of all ages to improve health and wellness.

They Serve, No Questions Asked
Lynchburg Daily Bread serves people from all walks of life. Their guests include workers who are recently unemployed or those with temporary or part-time jobs who can’t make ends meet. They serve the elderly and the disabled on fixed incomes, families with small children/babies, single parents, and persons with mental health challenges. Approximately 40% of their guests are over the age of 50. They are seeing an increase in the number of families coming to Daily Bread and are thankful to be part of making sure no child goes hungry.

Meals on Wheels of Greater Lynchburg addresses the hunger, isolation, and unique needs of the homebound.
Driven by volunteers who embody compassionate care, Meals on Wheels strengthens our community by delivering hot, nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks – empowering people to live valued, independent lives at home.
