Each shift offers 2 hours of slide time. Slide times are as follows:

Inner Tube rental is included in your ticket fee, but you can bring your own as long as it fits slide standards. This can be checked at registration.

Come wearing what you plan to slide in! Dress for hot weather, you will get WET!

Join us in our “Chill-Zone” at the Lynchburg City Armory located at the corner of Church and 12th Streets. Here is where you can check-in, get cool for a few minutes, purchase water, visit our sponsors and learn more about UWCV!

Parking will be made available in several public parking lots surrounding the event and will be listed on our website prior to arriving.

All purchases MUST be made online. You may purchase additional time slots day of IF the time slot is not sold out.

1. Bring either a printed ticket or have you e-ticket ready to present on your phone. Printed waivers are not necessary as they are signed digitally with your online ticket purchase.

2. We recommend bringing a ziplock baggy to protect your device, wallet, etc. from getting wet. UWCV is not responsible for lost or stolen items at this event. It is the responsibility of the slider to keep up with belongings. There will be bag check at registration if needed.

3. If you are not a minor, bring your ID for verification

4. Show up wearing what you will slide in!

5. Bring money for shopping and dining in downtown Lynchburg! There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the slide.

We do not allow tennis shoes on our slide. Pool shoes and sandals, however, are permitted; just be sure to keep your feet up and not drag them while going down the slide, as this will slow you down.

You must be at least 7 years old or 46″ tall to slide independently. Everyone 46″ and taller is required to purchase a ticket.

• Children under 46″ tall but over 5 years old must ride with an adult and require a ticket at the discounted price of $15.

• Children aged 3-5 years are free with a paid adult ticket. Choose the free option when selecting your other tickets.

• Children under 3 years old are not allowed on the slide.

We’ll need the names of all attendees in your group who are sliding. Each ticket holder will require a signed waiver, which you will complete at the time of purchase.

This event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions. We intend to operate the slide unless severe or inclement weather poses a safety risk to our participants. In the event of severe weather, the slide activities will be temporarily suspended until conditions improve. If adverse weather persists, participants will have the option to join the waves scheduled for the following day, subject to availability.
