4th Annual 5K on the Runway
WOW, what an exciting race!
A huge congratulations to the 500 runners who successfully completed the 5K, marking the largest number of participants in the history of the United Way 5K on the Runway. Alongside 100 spectators and 70 volunteers, the event was truly a celebration. For the first time, an afterparty was held in the Banker Aviation Hangar, featuring live music by the Social Distance Band, delicious food from Sheetz, and refreshing beverages. A big thank you to everyone involved in organizing this remarkable race, with a special thanks to Lynchburg Regional Airport for providing their facilities.
