32nd Annual Day of Caring

On Wednesday, May 21, United Way of Central Virginia proudly hosted the 32nd Annual Day of Caring—the region’s largest single-day volunteer effort! This impactful day brings together local companies, individual volunteers, and nonprofits in a powerful display of community spirit and service. Local nonprofits submitted projects ranging from landscaping and painting to organizing spaces and running supply drives—many of which they wouldn’t have the resources to complete without extra help. Volunteers from area companies and the community took the day off work to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. United Way is incredibly grateful to the volunteers, companies, and nonprofits who came together to serve and strengthen our communities. Thank you for making Day of Caring a success once again!
