Are you a local business looking to get your staff engaged in the community? Are you a solo volunteer looking to help support local non-profits? Day of Caring, one of Central VA's largest coordinated volunteer events, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023!

This annual event supports over 20 local non-profits in completing projects at their agencies. These projects include painting, landscaping, filing, organizing, and collection drives. All volunteers are invited to a celebratory luncheon at the Bank of the James Stadium from 11am-1pm for food, festivities, prizes and fun. Volunteers receive a shirt that can be collected prior to the 24th to wear while working on this event, and all agencies provide water while you work. An email requesting sizes and quantities of shirts will be sent prior to the event, along with confirmation of your meal sign-up.
