United Way Hosts TED Talks

United Way of Central Virginia hosts monthly TED Talks discussions second Saturdays at 8:00 am at the White Hart Cafe and third Thursdays at noon at the United Way building.

TED is a nonprofit organization that features internationally-renowned speakers discussing topics in the areas of Technology, Entertainment, and Design. TED Talks are short video recordings of these discussions.

Locally hosted TED Talks present an opportunity for open dialogue about our collective vision for Central Virginia and its citizens.

New TED Talk topics are chosen each month and moderated by United Way staff or other members of the community. Group discussions follows.

These talks are free and open to the public. Participants are welcome to purchase the White Hart Cafe’s delicious beverages and breakfast items at the Saturday morning sessions. For Thursday noon sessions, feel free to bring a bag lunch.

Registration is not required, but appreciated. For more information, contact Tabitha Abbott or like us on Facebook.
