FamilyWize cards are being distributed free of charge nationwide by participating United Ways, community and faith-based organizations, county agencies, doctors, businesses, some pharmacies, and individuals like you. The discounts and savings are provided voluntarily by the more than 55,000 participating pharmacies that have agreed to accept this card. Please remember to thank your pharmacy for its participation and those helping to give out the cards for the difference they are making for you, your family and your community.

As described on the Internal Revenue Service website, “the earned income credit (EIC) is a tax credit for certain people who work and have earned income less than:
$11,490 ($12,490 if married filing jointly) if there is no qualifying child
$30,338 ($31,338 if married filing jointly) if there is one qualifying child
$34,458 ($35,458 if married filing jointly) if there is more than one qualifying child.”
You cannot be married filing separately. A tax credit usually means more money in your pocket. It reduces the amount of taxes you owe. The EIC may also give you a refund.
We encourage eligible families to take advantage of this tax credit opportunity. The credit is an opportunity to increase your family’s budget to cover your basic needs, your children’s school needs, or other important items to benefit your family.
