There are many reasons for participating in Day of Caring as a benefiting agency! First and foremost, Day of Caring allows you an opportunity to work with community volunteers in completing projects you would not normally have the resources to complete. Other perks include being able to educate others about the wonderful work you do in the community, meeting new people and potential serial volunteers and donors, and the ability to build partnerships with other agencies and groups.
Although the process does require time and sound organizational skills, the culmination is one of the most productive and efficient volunteer events in our region. Be sure not to miss out!
For all your planning needs and questions, please consult with the agency planning guide, which can be downloaded by clicking on the button below. Also, find buttons for the release form -- one has a space for t-shirt sizes and one does not. Additionally, participating agency links will be placed below in alphabetical order.
If you have any questions at all throughout the process, please do not hesitate to contact Laura Lawson, Director of PR and Marketing for United Way, by email or at (434) 455-6900.
