Race Day

Get ready to soar with United Way of Central Virginia as we bring back the epic United Way 5K on the Runway for the fourth time, now bigger and better than ever before!

This year, the race takes off in the late afternoon of April 27th, at 5 pm. But wait, there's more! Following the race, the party continues with food, drinks, and loads of fun. We’re going to party like it's the 70s, baby! The race is limited to 500 participants, so don't miss out on your chance to join in!

We Need Volunteers!

We are in need of about 80 volunteers over the course of two days for numerous tasks relating to the 5K. With duties varying from packet pickup to course marshals to setup/teardown, we need your help!
